The House of The Living God is a Spirit filled non-denominational church that is open to all believers.

We promote the Love of the Father, the compassion of Christ, and the Power of the Holy Spirit. The gifts of the Spirit are in operation in the church and in our everyday lives. We provide a safe atmosphere where people can experience the presence of God. Revival and Awakening are part of our DNA.

We are called to release the Love of God and the Fire of God that will save the lost, set the captives free, heal the sick, mend the broken hearted and transform lives and our community.

We believe that we should surrender our bodies to Christ as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable unto God and that we should portray the character of Christ in our daily lives, being imitators of Him, as we reach out to the lost and hurting.

Mark your calendars for June 7-9th. Our next Appalachian Awakening will be then starting with a tour of the sites retracing the trail of fire from Barney Creek where it begin in 1884 to Shearer Schoolhouse where 100-120 people were baptized in the Holy Spirit, the baptism of fire in 1896, also The Holy Ghost monument where the church stood before it was burned and many more sites.

We will tell the old stories on Pentecost weekend and reignite the fire!
